Dear MSNBC and Dear Rachel Maddow, Ph.D., who does all her homework very carefully for her shows – except, to her credentialed shame, when it comes to MENA Jewish Israel (Jews Indigenous to the Levant, Southwest Asia, Middle East, and North Africa) – for the 2nd week I am having to express the following:
1 – In Israel, no government in power is a minority group that has taken rule over the majority against the will of the electors. This anti- “small d” approach to governing is a USA thang only, and not possible in Israel elections and government coalitions!
2 – The protestors in Israel are the “Right/Left wing anti- “small d” propagandists, who are trying to stop the government of Israel from returning Israel back into a “small d” ruled by the people democracy!
The people of Israel do NOT want to be a miniature USA, full of corrupt overly powerful Supreme Court rulers who arbitrarily decide for the people what laws may exist in Israel and what laws may not – regardless what the people’s majority elected government enacts into law – at the behest of the majority of citizens.
The Judicial reforms in works needed to happen 20 years ago, when Israel’s Supreme Court decided to do what Trump’s-McConnell’s Supreme Court is doing now in the USA. Only, Israel’s Supreme Court has had so much power that – just on a whim of personal political agenda alone – has been able to declare invalid any law by any of the elected coalition governments at any time – and this is rule by “big D” totalitarian style government of court opinion.
Antisemitic racism is a disease that blinds those infected from doing even the most *basic research* about Jews and Israel, before forming a declarative position that demonizes the only still occupied but partially decolonized Indigenous refugee nation on planet Earth! Rachel Maddow is being affected now by this antisemitism, to her shame, like so many successfully colonized USA Jews who have also bought the antisemitic propaganda – that is being tailor-made and piped in for USA citizen consumption.
If only there were someone reading this who can directly talk to Rachel Maddow, for there is no reason to allow her to continue shaming herself publicly like this.

It is absolutely essential for Israel to be a true democracy which it currently is not and no other democracy on the planet has the system we have and it is only geared this way so the minority left can always have control but that is what fascism is not democracy.

The reform is not only 100% democratic, it is literally making Israel truly democratic and that is the irony of all this. Imagine, the USA being forced by a rogue USA Supreme Court to accept nationally the marriages of USA citizens that were officiated online by the courts of the city of Cancun, *Mexico*. This just happened in Israel! The Israeli people were *not* consulted by the Israeli Supreme Court, the Israeli Knesset (government) was *not* consulted by the Israeli Supreme Court. But, now the U.S. State of Utah is conducting marriages *for* Israel under United States’ law, *authorized* by the Israeli Supreme Court – a Court that selects its own judges!

Let me correct your understanding of “the Jews”:
In ancient Canaan, the peoples of Canaan were divided by the primary – mutually intelligible – Canaanite language dialects of Moabite, Hebrew, Phoenician/Canaanite, and Edomite. Of these Canaanite peoples, only the Jewish people have survived colonization, assimilation, … outright extinction! The northern Israelite kingdom that also spoke Canaanite Hebrew was the first to go, being forcibly assimilated into Assyrian culture, language, and religious belief. Hence the Judean Torah lament of the lost tribes of Israel! They were not scattered throughout the world, as is Colonial Arab-European folklore to justify their colonizations of this planet.
What few Israelite communities within the occupation areas of ancient Assyria that survived this colonization either, 1, joined with and became we Indigenous Judeans, like the Edomites would later do (to avoid Colonial assimilation) or, 2, became the later Samaritans of this Canaan land.
The Arabs that began to spread as a Muslim Colonizer, like Europeans as empires and then Christian Colonizers, were simple Arab tribes that lived in the southern part of Arabia (Mecca and downwards). They never were members of the Canaanite people, hence why their language is not a Canaanite language!

“In yet another display of Christiane Amanpour’s prioritization of her disdain for Israel over journalistic integrity, the CNN anchor appears to have fabricated poll results to falsely suggest that the Palestinian side supports the two-state solution with Israel.
Her comments came during her interview with former Israeli ambassador Yael German on February 14, 2023. Toward the end of the interview, Amanpour asked Ambassador German: “I want to know from you, as a diplomat, is there any hope for anything resembling negotiations on a two-state solution, given that the settlements and the settlement-believers are emboldened by now their backers who are in government?”
Ambassador German answered by pointing out the unwillingness of Palestinian leaders to agree to repeated offers of statehood and to live side by side with Israel. She also argued that the Palestinian people generally refuse to accept the existence of a Jewish state.

Amanpour responded first by downplaying the extent of Palestinian rejectionism of the Jewish state, saying only “some people” believe that, and then, without providing any specific source, claimed: “The latest polls from the Palestinian side also show that they want a peaceful, two-state solution to co-exist with you.”
It’s unclear what “latest polls” Amanpour might be referring to, given that every major recent poll from the Palestinian side shows exactly the opposite.
Recent polling by the Ramallah-based Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PCPSR) has consistently shown low support for a two-state solution. A June 2022 poll found that only 28% of Palestinians support the concept of a two-state solution. In September, that figure rose to 37%, but dropped again in December to 32%.
Other Palestinian polls show the same. An August 2021 poll from the Ramallah-based Arab World for Research & Development (AWRD) found that only 36% of Palestinians supported the principle of a two-state solution. A July 2022 poll by the Palestinian organization Jerusalem Media & Communication Center (JMCC) found that only 26% preferred a two-state solution.
The data is further supported by polling data from The Washington Institute for Near East Policy (TWI), which found in June 2022 that only 37% of Gazans and 25% of Judea and Samaria Palestinians would “definitely accept” or “probably accept” the principle of “two states for two peoples.”
The PCPSR polls also dispel the notion that the “Palestinian side” seeks a peaceful solution. As the December 2022 poll showed, a “majority of 55% support the return to an armed intifada.” The figure was 55% and 48% respectively in June and September 2022. TWI found in June 2022 that approximately 70% of Gazans and 61% of Judea and Samaria Palestinians either strongly or somewhat agree that “Palestinians should move to a new intifadah and make armed struggle their top priority.”
The December 2022 PCPSR poll also found that 72% of Palestinians “support the formation of armed groups such as the ‘Lions’ Den,’” a terrorist organization behind a significant portion of the uptick in terror attacks in the last year, including by sending a 16-year-old to attack Jewish worshipers.

Given these consistent findings of relatively well-respected Palestinian polls, it seems likely that Amanpour entirely fabricated findings from nonexistent “latest polls.” A request for substantiation sent to Amanpour has so far gone unanswered.
Even if a recent poll does exist that shows dramatically different results than the consistent figures from PCPSR, AWRD, TWI, and JMCC, it would be intellectually dishonest to omit any mention of the other “recent polls” contradicting Amanpour’s preferred results.
