How did the Jewish sudra become the “Palestinian” keffiyeh? When, where, and why? Do you know?! Or, do you just *think* that you know, courtesy of 58 years of KGB-PLO political terrorism propaganda, that’s been spread very effectively throughout the Arab-European colonized social world? A punishment for the Jewish people’s forcible reestablishment of the nation of Israel under Jewish self-sovereignty. To get the answers to these questions requires stepping back into the 19th century CE.
During the Ottoman empire, the region that has been known as “Palestine” to Arab and European outsiders – the non-indigenous – since Roman occupation, was occupied by both Jews Indigenous to Judea-Samaria and Arab settlers from previous Arab Caliphate conquests of the land of Israel. This is the period in which Arab settlers in Judea-Samaria never tried to appropriate the land of Israel for national sovereignty (like all occupational periods before, whether Arab or European), and these Arab settlers wore the Jewish sudra *because* it is the headdress-wear of Judea-Samaria. They knew fully well that it is both climatic Jewish dress wear and *sacred* Jewish dress wear, both at the same time.
The sudra/keffiyeh of “Palestine” only revealed in Ottoman and earlier periods that the wearers were rural people of the region – either Jewish Indigenous or Arab settlers upon the land of Israel. So what happened to change the Arab mindset on Judea-Samaria? During the 1880’s, Jews Indigenous to Judea-Samaria and Jews returning from Middle East and European Diasporas engaged in Zionism, a return to agricultural and waters sovereignty, by restoring over 600 acres of desert land to productive farm land and by draining the malaria filled swamps. This Jewish productivity caused a mass migration of Arabs from Egypt and other Middle Eastern lands that were suffering from drought or war into Judea-Samaria between the 1920’s through 1940’s – courtesy of the British, French, Arabian re-conquest of the Levant and Southwest Asia.
The first Arab keffiyeh *appropriation* of our local Jewish sudra headdress as *Arab* wear began in Judea-Samaria in the 1930’s, and this Arab appropriation of Indigenous Judean dress wear was done as a symbol of Arab “nationalism” during the “Palestine” Arab Revolt of the 1930’s. Again, to give credit where credit is due, courtesy of the duplicitous British occupiers of Judea-Samaria, who had already given a third of the land of Israel to the Arabian Hashemite family, as a reward for helping to re-colonize the Levant for Allah-Christ and caliphates-kings. You might have heard of it, they called this new Arab nation “Transjordan” (now “Jordan,” today), which was invented by the Colonial Arabs-Europeans on 11 April 1921.
Colonizers of Indigenous Peoples’ lands always support and reward fellow Colonizers of Indigenous Peoples’ lands, and then fight each other for further political gain. So, of course, this metastasized further, as all Colonial interests do!
The black and white sudra of the 1930’s now became an Arab specific “keffiyeh” among Arab settlers, and a growing symbol of Arab revolt against the British for the *national rule* of the land of Israel – as a sovereign Arab nation upon all of “Palestine,” the land of Judea-Samaria. This allowed for armed Arab *rebels* to use the “Palestine” keffiyeh as an accoutrement that was used to blend in with local Arabs when they entered the cities of Judea-Samaria. Nevermind the thoughts, feelings, and desires of Jews Indigenous to Judea-Samaria, which neither the British nor the Arabs considered worthy of real opinion! This appropriation of Jewish culture and land for the purpose of colonizing is what brought into existence our Jewish underground militaries – the Haganah, Irgun, and Lehi Jewish freedom fighters, all armed with smuggled in weapons – that battled with the British and Arab occupiers for the freedom of Israel!
Now, how did this go? The Jewish battle for Indigenous Judean independence and self-sovereignty upon the land of Israel was a success, despite the physical body numbers disadvantage. Though outnumbered by 20 British and Arabs to every 1 Jewish freedom fighter, the Jewish people managed to so “terrorize” the European-Arab Colonial effort that the British deemed it financially and politically too costly to continue occupying the land of Israel and withdrew their military occupation force. Thus, all of Judea-Samaria was decolonized by the Jewish people, and we reestablished our Indigenous nation’s sovereignty – for the fourth historical time – in 1948. Yes, we were (and are still!) that resolute to beat incredible odds levied against us!
So what happened next? Three surrounding Arab nations with five Arab armies laid a 10 month siege upon the decolonized land of Israel *the very next day* after our declared Independence. The Europeans, who had now retreated, sat back and watched (and *not* surprisingly)! And, even through this Arab created “nakba” period, the outnumbered Jewish people – born from the Levant soil – still won continued Independence upon our ancestral land! We only lost Gaza to the Egyptians and the part of Judea-Samaria that the Jordanians would name the “West Bank” during their 18+ year occupation of the land of Israel.
Yes, we *exist to resist* as a Jewish people! Our ancient covenant with the land’s god-King demands this of our Judean people. And we will continue to defend the land of Israel from all Colonial occupiers who seek to conquer her!
Now, here enters the USSR’s KGB to establish a Colonial “Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine” terrorist organization (aka, PLO, Fatah – which later evolved into the PA and Hamas) upon the Jordanian occupied “West Bank.” To achieve their Marxist long-term goals, the USSR recruited Arabs to Marxist doctrine in the 1960’s.
