The “Palestinian” Arabs are the occupiers of Judea-Samaria, oppressing the *sovereign land of rights* of Jews Indigenous to Judea-Samaria! Strangely, this claim that Kurds are Persian is the official position of Turkish, Arab and *Syriac nationalism despite the fact that Kurds and Persians are two quite different ethnic groups and speak two different languages.
Iraqi Arabs claim that Sumerians were Iraqis (implying that they were Arabs) as were the Akkadians, Babylonians, Amorites and Assyrians. Despite the known fact that neither Iraq existed nor were these now extinct peoples Arabs. Ironically, a group of Syriac Christians have also stolen the “Assyrian” identity since the early 20th century, they are so insecure about their claims that they become quite aggressive if you only remind them that they have stolen an identity which has zero connection with them. Same as the Arabs of Israel who have stolen “Palestinian” identity, same as the Tatar Turks of Arran and northern Iran who have appropriated “Azerbaijani” identity. Same as the tens of new, fake ethnic identities created by the British and Russian colonialists.
These people are so stupid and ignorant that I don’t even know where to start to correct their false claims about Kurds.
First off, if the Kurds are Persians (I myself do have Persian roots from my mom’s side since they are of a mixed Kurdish and Persian background, as do many Kurds and Persians since they have lived together for millennia) then by the right of conquest in the pre-modern world we as Persians rightfully own not only Kurdistan but the whole Iraq & Syria and literally the entire Middle East since we as Persians conquered these lands before the existence of any modern ethnic group in the Middle East , with the exception of Jews. After we captured these lands from the ancient Babylonians (who were not even Arabs), we settled here and ruled the region for 1200 years. We as Persians have been living on our land rightfully for 2700 years, long before any Arab or any modern Middle Eastern ethnic group – with the exception of Jews – walks the face of the earth!
In the medieval period we the Persians (Kurdish Ayyubids) conquered Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Sudan, Algeria, Yemen, Syria, Jordan, your so called Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, modern-day Saudi Arabia, modern-day Turkey and northern Iraq. The Ayyubid empire was literally called “Sultanate of the Kurds”. So by the right of conquest we can lay claim to your whole so-called Arab world from Tunisia to Iraq, especially that these regions were still not entirely Arabized.
Not to mention that in the 16th century, the Feyli Kurds (oh sorry I meant Persians) conquered Baghdad from the Ottomans and ruled it for many years.
Second, Iran (literally ‘noble people’) is simply a cultural and linguistic term, same as Semitic. Iranian is NOT an ethnic term, Persians are Iranian as are Kurds, Gilakis, Balochs, Pashtuans, Iranian Jews and tens of other ethnic groups who speak Iranian languages and practice Iranian culture.
Third, Persian culture is Zoroastrian whereas Kurdish culture is Mithraic.
Fourth, Kurdish and Persian belong to two different, mutually unintelligible branches of Western Iranian languages. Kurds speak a Northwestern Iranian language whereas Persians speak a Southwestern Iranian language.
Arab nationalists don’t read history, thats why most of them are ignorant to an extent that they don’t even know their country’s name Iraq is a Persian word or that Iraq was originally a province of Iran before Arabs conquer it, or that their modern capital Baghdad (which is founded by a half-Kurdish and half-Arab man) was originally the capital of Iran.
i. Iraq
For more than a millennium modern-day Iraq was an integral part of Iran (called Āryān-šahr and Ērān-šahr ‘land of the Āryāns’ in antiquity) and was inhabited by Iranic speaking peoples along with Jews and Arameans and a small group of nomadic pro-Sasanian Arabs near modern Saudi-Iraqi border called Lakhmides.
The Āryānian empires that ruled modern-day Iraq and Syria between the 7th BCE and 7th CE centuries were: the Median empire, Anshanite empire, Achaemenid Persian empire, Arsacid Parthian empire, and lastly the Sasanian empire which was conquered by Arab Muslims in 640s CE.
Under the Iranian rule in antiquity modern Irāq was called Del-ī Ērānšahr (‘the heart of Iran’) since it formed the core of the the Iranian empire and the Iranian mythology places Irāq at the heart of Iran. According to Iranian mythology recorded in the Sasanian period, the Kurds are the descendants of the people who escaped to the mountains after a tyrant invaded Del-ī Ērānšahr (modern-day Iraq).
In terms of administrative geography modern-day Irāq, stretching from Hamrīn mountans (that separate Iraq from Kurdistan) to the Persian gulf, was a province of Iran and was called Bābil (‘Babylon’), when the Greeks led by Alexander the Great conquered it from Persians they renamed Babylon “Assyria” and incorporated it into the satrapy of Media, it was thereafter ruled by a pro-Greek governor from Hamadān, when the Arsacid Parthians reconquered Babylon/Assyria they renamed it “Āsōristān” (Iranic for ‘Assyria’), when the region converted to Christianity it became a bishopric of the Church of the East called Bēth Ārāmāyē (‘country of the Arameans’).
First Arab settlement in Iraq was in the 2nd century BCE in the small city of Hatra in modern-day Ninevah province, which they ruled as vassals of Iran and were pro-Iranians. They also used Aramaic as their official language since it was the official language of Iran.
One of the many ahistorical claims by Arabs is that the name Irāq is derived from Uruk, a Sumerian city state. However, the reality is that Irāq is a Persian toponym. It comes from the Middle Persian word erāq, meaning “lowlands”, which was used by Sasanians for the western plains of Ērānšahr/Āryānšahr stretching from Hamrīn mountains to the Persian gulf and Central Iran.
After the Arab conquest the Persian word came to be used by the immediate Muslim successors as the name of an administrative unit which encompassed modern Iraq (excluding Southern Kurdistan which was simply called ‘land of Kurds’ or Mosul/Šarazūr district under Arab Muslims), Khuzistan and other parts of western and Central Iran. During the medieval period, after the influx of large numbers of Arabs to Iraq, the region was divided into ʿIrāq ʿArabī (“Arabian Iraq”) for Lower Mesopotamia and ʿIrāq ʿAjamī (“Persian Iraq”) for the region now situated in Central and Western Iran.
In 1910s the British empire invaded Iraq, in 1920s they annexed southern Kurdistan to the newly founded Kingdom of Iraq.
ii. Baghdād
Baghdad, meaning ‘bestowed by Baga/God’ in Persian, was originally a small Persian village. It was selected by al-Manṣūr, the caliph of the Abbāsid dynasty, for his capital. Al-Manṣūr was himself half-Kurdish and was known as Ibn al-Kurdiyyah (‘son of the Kurdish woman’).

From an Indigenous perspective, a Torah perspective, what does it mean to “love your neighbor as yourself”?

Hereby I take upon myself to fulfill the mitzvah: Love your neighbor as yourself.
This passage from Torah is often used by non-Jews to castigate the Jewish people, by creating a double standard for us, that we should be treating non-citizen Arab “Palestinians” as equals to Israelis upon the land of Israel. But what does it really mean legally “to love others as yourself”?
Do you know the answer to this question? This mitzvat Torah means to abide faithfully, as a citizen of our Judean nation, by the mitzvot (the laws) of the land of Israel. The laws that are specifically connected to this mitzvah are:
You will not hate your indigenous brothers and sisters. Yet you will reprimand your fellow Jews and non-Jewish citizens for their erring (privately or publicly), and you will not bear a crime on their behalf. You will not mindlessly gossip about your Indigenous people. You will not stand by while fellow citizens are being maimed or murdered. You will not favor a poor person nor respect a rich person in your legal judgements at the expense of the other. You will not set up the ignorant among you, the mentally “deaf” and “blind,” for a legal fall. You will not oppress your neighbors, nor rob them (whether Jewish or non-Jewish citizens). You will pay your workers in a timely manner. You will not kidnap others. You will not lie for legal gain in a court of law. You will feed the poor citizens, and feed the non-citizens who are squatting upon the land of Israel. And you will show respect towards your parents.
When “Palestinian” Arabs occupy the land of Israel to end this Indigenous nation rule of law upon the land, in favor of Arab governance over the land, the laws of Israel do not apply to them, full stop. To be equal under the law, they need to apply for citizenship/residency within our Indigenous Judean nation. To occupy a land for Allah-Marx and caliphates-communism is to reject our Indigenous right to self-sovereignty upon our ancestral land. 2.5 million Arabs, Druze, and Bedouins *do* understand this, and they are *citizens* of Israel. They live under the same laws and enjoy the same benefits as the Jewish people. Hence why they shed blood with us to protect our Jewish nation from Arab-European Colonial occupation and terrorism upon our Judean land.
It is said among Jews who take our mitzvot/halachot seriously, that we should remind ourselves daily of these land obligations, these Torah laws, by chanting the harèini mekabèl alày mitzvàt chant above and the àch tzadikìm yodù lish’mechà chant below *daily*. Why? Because, דרך ארץ קדמה לתורה (the path of the land – meaning courteous acts – precedes Torah).
