The poisonous root of both Christianity and Islam! In every generation there are Christian and Muslim militias patrolling, determined in their faith and allegiance to their religion’s God – to bring them victory over the masses, through terrorizing and dominating, and through enforcing their beliefs and memory laws. There is no difference between these religious hearts and they, the pious of these religions, are the reason for 1600 years of world-wide suffering!
May we all dispel ignorance and absolutist beliefs, the poisoned root that leads to all harmful and hateful actions through body, mind, and speech.
In the extremist mind – whether it be Evangelical Dominionists, the Proud Boys, Aryan Brotherhood – or – whether it be Islamic Caliphates, the Taliban, Hamas – the extremist belief is this:
We “settled” the land, we didn’t colonize/conquest it, therefore it is “our land” and we are now the “indigenous.” Anything contrary to such absolutist beliefs is the lie, for “God” gave us this land through victorious violence! Therefore, Jews and blacks and browns “will not replace us!” And Jews are actually the “Nazis,” rather than the worlds only nation comprised of mostly refugees from Islamic and Christian nations!
This is the militant mentality that has had extremist hold over the lives of billions of humans: Europe and the USA are white Christian nations – everywhere, without exception (even Russia)! And the Middle East is Arab Muslim – everywhere, regardless the kind of government, without exception! For Christianity and Islam there can be no other way.
Hindus stick to themselves, non-Muslim Arabs stick to themselves, Jews stick to themselves, blacks and Hispanics stick to themselves. Why? What is the difference?
A friend pointed out that it is because Christianity and Islam are Abrahamic religions, so they get their inherent militancy straight from the Bible. But, here is the problem with this belief: Judaism is an ethno-religion that refuses to actively proselytize, because we are an ethnicity with a religion. Christians and Arabs are gentiles in origin, and are not Jewish in any way. The only thing they both did is laid claim to our Jewish myths, as their own – thus, their purely religious claim of supplanting us as an ethno-religious people. Two universal pure religions, that do not require ethnic membership in the people, and have historical never-ending animosity towards Jews for not assimilating to their absolutist “true” religions.
Back in the ANE all insignificant civilizations made up conquesting myths to explain or validate their national existence, even though such events did not actually historically occur – copying their stories from the literary behaviors of actual conquesting empires of the time. Judea-Israel has throughout its history between always under siege by the conquesting empires. Even the Roman Empire incorporated our Judean culture and religion into the Roman pantheon of religions, but they did not try to be Jews in the process. In historical fact, not one nation prior to this CE period of history, tried to *be* the Jews of our legends.
For this to happen, this took the rise of a new form of empire, a strictly religious one. Usurping-proselytizing gentile Christianity. A religion not based in ethno-national identity, but in pure religiously dogmatic absolutist theology/eschatological beliefs. Islam took the same exact non-ethnic religous course. Both do not conquest to incorporate other peoples into their culture-religious pantheons (like in the ANE), but conquest to replace *all* ethno-religious identities (on this planet) with them and their extremist beliefs.
From Christianity onwards was a flipping of what it means to be religious in this world, thus freeing the Christian and Muslim religious from guilt and unrighteousness in *everything* that they do! No matter how extremely indifferent and/or outright evil.
