Palestinian Sheikh Amira in al-Aqsa: “The people of Palestine have no historical right to Palestine. They have no right that dates back 2,000, 3,000, or 4,000 years. The right of the Canaanites to Palestine is equal to the pharaohs’ right to Egypt…”

“…Is it conceivable that any Muslim in Egypt would say: ‘I am Pharaonic and proud of it?’ Well, it’s the same if a Muslim in Palestine says: ‘I am a Canaanite and proud of it.’ To hell with your Canaanite identity and with his Pharaonic identity. People, our history is simple and it is not ancient. Our history dates back only 1,440 years. 1,440 years ago we had no rights of any kind. Absolutely none…. It must not be said that the Palestinians have Canaanite roots. We can go back to the words of Yasser Arafat who lost our cause. He referred to you as the [Canaanite] ‘nation of giants.’ This is the first time I see a president who curses his own people. The Palestinians are Muslims. Calling them [Canaanite] ‘nation of giants’ is cursing them. It’s humiliating to them. It sends them back to the infidel days of tyranny. The only thing you are allowed to say is: Oh Palestinians, you are Muslims.” – Palestinian Islamic Scholar Issam Amira, Al-Aqsa Mosque Address, Apr 14, 2023

“It was not Israel that burned Iraq and tore it apart. It was not Israel that divided Iraq into Sunnis and Shi’ites, where one side kills for the sake of Al-Hussein and the other kills for the sake of Abu Bakr and Omar. It was not Israel that dropped barrel bombs on the people of Syria, and divided them into the Alawites, Sunnis and Shi’ites. It was not Israel that dug out the graves of the righteous and exhumed their bones. It was not Israel that incited against the people of Egypt, and drove Egyptians to kill their compatriots. It was not Israel that bombed and divided Libya. It was not Israel that harbored Hizbullah within (Lebanon), and divided Lebanon into religious sects, tearing the country apart. It was not Israel that welcomed the Muslim Brotherhood, which amassed weapons, and incited against their compatriots and their countries, launching accursed revolutions to burn their countries down. People, let us be frank. It was not Israel that blew up mosques. It was not Israel that incited the Shi’ites against the Sunnis, and bombed the churches of our Copt Arab brothers in Egypt. It was not Israel that gave rise to ISIS and its sister organizations. We gave rise to these organizations. We the Arabs – except those spared by Allah – have accused each other of heresy. We are the ones who created the division between Sunnis and Shi’ites, and are still fighting over a 1,400 year-old rivalry among the Prophet’s companions. …

Take a look at yourselves before you look at Israel. Take a look at yourselves before you slander peace. Take a look at yourselves, while pointing weapons at one another. You have burned Syria, blown up Iraq, and torn Libya apart. You have divided Lebanon into groups that fight against one another. In Syria, [you dropped] barrel bombs on the heads of children. You are the ones who blew up mosques in which the name Allah is mentioned. What religion are you talking about? You had better just shut up. We are sick and tired of your empty slogans. They live in Europe and talk about honor and the Palestinian cause. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Even the devil washes his hands of your actions.” – Waseem Yousef, Emirati Islamic scholar, September 16, 2020

Guest: “Is Palestine and its occupation an Arab cause or a religious one?”

Abdullah Al-Hadlaq: “There is no occupation. There is a people returning to its promised land. … Are you aware that the history of the Israelites is ancient, predating Islam? Therefore, we Muslims must acknowledge that the Israelites have a right to that land, and that they have not plundered it. The people who say that it was plundered are still thinking in the mentality of the 1950s and before. … When the State of Israel was established in 1948, there was no state called ‘Palestine.'”

Host: “So where did we get that name, which we have been defending for 60 years?”

Abdullah Al-Hadlaq: “It didn’t exist. There were various communities living in Arab countries. They were called ‘Canaanites,’ ‘Amalekites,’ or a whole host of other names. The Quranic verse even says: ‘…in it are a people of great strength [Jabbareen].’ Some people called them ‘Jabbareen.’ Therefore, there was no state called ‘Palestine.’ I insist on this.”

Abdullah Al-Hadlaq: “It didn’t exist.” … *Historically*, the correct answer. “Palestinian” has always referred to Jews, specifically, and to all ethnicities living in the land – ever since the Roman occupiers stripped Judea of its Israeli sovereignty in the 2nd century CE, and renamed the land as Palaestina (Palestine). Ever since then, Muslim colonizers, Christian crusaders, and Persian overseers have all occupied the land under their empires, until Palestinian Jews redeclared self-sovereignty in 1948 – on less than 7% of our Judean land.

77% of historic Israel is an Arab Palestinian nation-State now, known as Jordan. And, Jews voluntarily chose not to claim the West Bank and Gaza, even though these portions technically and legally belong to Israel, all to allow non-Jewish Palestinians the opportunity to create what occupying Jordan and Egypt prevented from 1948 to 1967 – nationhood. But, nationhood is not what the PA and Hamas want, rather that Jews return to being second-class citizens under Muslim dictatorship.

Kuwaiti writer Abdullah Al-Hadlaq said that Israel was an independent and legitimate sovereign state and that there was no occupation, but instead, “a people returning to its promised land.” “When the State of Israel was established in 1948, there was no state called ‘Palestine,'” said Al-Hadlaq. He recalled that he had once written: “I wished that we could be like the people of the State of Israel, who rallied, down to the very last one, to defend a single Israeli soldier.” In the interview, which was broadcast by the Kuwaiti Alrai TV channel on November 19, Al-Hadlaq further said that he believed in peaceful coexistence with Israel and envisioned a three-way alliance of Israel, the Arab Gulf states, and America “in order to annihilate Hizbullah beyond resurrection.” The interview caused an uproar in the Arab media and social networks.

A change of pace! Let’s get back to Judean literatures education! … The first creation story in Torah, the cosmology creation of definable shapes from out of preexisting primordial matter, by the Elohim precedes the first planetary Shabbat (weekend, day of resting), according to Torah. The second post- Shabbat creation story is about the Levant land’s god-King, YHWH, shaping and breathing life into the Levantine peoples, the Canaanites (Moabites, Israelites, Judahites, Edomites, Phoenicians/Canaanites, and Ammonites), from the soil of the Levant, according to Torah.

Nowhere in this second creation story does it say that “God” created “man” first and “woman” second! To think that is a failure to understand our Canaanite Hebrew language. YHWH shaped the “human” from the “humus” is literally what Torah says. The human had no gender! That is, until the splitting of the “ribcage” into two humans, wherein Adam declares the existence of human species genders, “This one shall be called woman (ishah), because this one was taken from man (ish)” She is called “Chavah” (life-giver), because she was taken from Adam – because no other species created by YHWH was right for “human” to mate with and propagate with!

Details, they are important to Indigenous Judean understanding of our Canaanite people’s origin myths!

The role of Adam was to tend the garden of YHWH as a working viceroy. In a garden this size, to successfully achieve this role, Adam needs co-equal partners to do as Adam is instructed to do – “to work it and to guard it” / לְעָבְדָ֖הּ וּלְשָׁמְרָֽהּ. Despite all the species shaped from the ground by YHWH, like Adam was shaped, none met the needs of the human viceroy (“Head Species”, top of the food chain) position in the garden. So, YHWH had to split Adam into two Adams to fix this numerical problem that Adam was faced with in such a big garden!

It’s not good for the human (“adam”) to be alone, I will shape for it* ezer ke’negdo. … For the human, none [of the species that YHWH created and brought to Adam to name was] found ezer ke’negdo (“equal helper” – literally, “opposite like” “helper”):
verse 18, verse 20

A king needs a queen, both are equal rulers over their subjects! Likewise, YHWH’s Viceroy species for his garden is not complete without an equal opposite Viceroy species. Since none of the other species were compatible for this role, YHWH split the human into equal gendered opposites. Let Torah speak on its own terms, folks, in “*her*” Canaanite Hebrew language!

*Note, all genderless objects are either male or female in word nature, thus the use of gender pronouns even for inanimate objects – there is no “it” pronoun in ancient Canaanite Hebrew.

Little things about the Canaanite people of Israel (aka, “the Jews”) that you probably don’t know about:

Jews whose ancestry are of Yemen diaspora (aka, the Arab region) to this very day still teach their youth from childhood how to speak in our (northern Levant region) Canaanite Hebrew language in the same way that our Canaanite BCE ancestors spoke Hebrew – Yemeni Jews are our Jewish people’s grammarians.

If you are a European (aka, Christian) appropriator of Jewish ancestral literatures, one of their successfully colonized, or a Jew’cano (a successfully colonized Jew within the Christian-Muslim sphere of oppressive Colonial cultural influence),…

If you don’t understand the names in our Canaanite Hebrew language Torah, then you cannot understand our Jewish Torah. Every single story in our Torah is built around the meaning of the names! Our Torah is a conflicting but expertly woven tapestry of polytheistic Jewish oral traditions, set into a henotheistic framework of a singular progressing narrative. The Jews of the ANE era (BCE-early CE), if present today, would not even begin to understand the historically recent modern post-Middles Ages CE monotheistic view of Torah (that literally erases the voice of Torah herself!). Read Torah on its own Canaanite Hebrew language terms, and let her tell us her stories!
