Both Arabs and Europeans try to divide Indigenous Peoples. In the “West” on skin color differences. In the “East” on religious differences. Racism is racism! Arabs and Europeans are experts at racism. And in fictitious history. Muslims and Christians are experts at racism! All Indigenous Peoples are trying to survive assimilation into racism. Don’t be a racist!

The eternal meaning of “Tikkun Olam,” according to Jewish Indigenous to Judea-Samaria tradition!

“To fix the world in the kingdom of God!” Where is the kingdom of YHWH? The land of Israel (Judea, Samaria, and Jordan)! How do we “fix the world”? Zionism, Jewish self-sovereignty upon the land of Israel, in order to fulfill the D’varim constitution (vassal treaty) for the Jewish people of Israel! In order to fulfill the prophecy of all nations “bowing” in submission to YHWH in the sovereign land of Israel.

As David fought for, as the Maccabees fought for, as the Simon bar Kokhba rebels fought for, as Hushiel and his rebels fought for, as the Irgun-Lehi-Haganah rebels fought for, and as every Israeli (Jews, Arabs, Druze, Bedouin, and European) fight for to this very day! (And, even, as Jesus of Nazareth fought for, according to the book of Matthew! But, European Colonialism appropriated this Jewish message, created “Christianity,” and fully distorted this).

The reality is that Arab and European antisemitic racists are angry and jealous of our forcibly successful Jewish decolonization upon our ancestral land, the land of Israel. They hate that Jews indigenous to the Judea-Samaria and Southwest Asia region, with Jews returning from Europe, forced our decolonized national existence upon the Arab-European Colonial supremacist world stage! There is no fixing racism, only preventing the next generation from becoming racists. Antisemitism is the first Arab-European Colonial racism for Allah-Christ-Marx dominionism upon all Indigenous Peoples’ lands!

Why so much Colonial English here? Outside of Chinese, isn’t Colonial English the “go to” language to reach the rest of the Arab-European colonized world?

“Apropos MLK day, allow me to share a snippet of my dvar Torah this past Shabbat.

“I feel bad for the Aleinu prayer, which many of us recite thrice daily. This beautiful poem is one of the primary sources of the value of tikkun olam, it is one of the places where the phrase first comes up, explicitly articulating the value of “tikkun olam,” to fix and heal a broken world.

Frustratingly, some social justice warriors have cut the verse in half, adopting only the first part, while leaving the second part on the chopping block. The verse is לתקן עולם במלכות שדי, to fix the world “by heralding the divine majesty.”

In order words, Jewish tikkun olam is a theological trope, not just a social justice value. Our impetus to fix what is broken is based on a recognition that this world is the dwelling place of God’s immanence. As a result, there is divinity in every person, regardless of color, race, religion or orientation.

That is what fuels OUR desire for tikkun olam. Our fight for social justice is driven by a desire to reveal, cherish, honor and celebrate the divine spark in every human being.

That is a unique kind of social justice warfare, and that is the one we have to bring to the world: לתקן עולם במלכות שדי. To spread the sacred spark of divinity universally, so that all of humanity is treated as one and the same because of the divine spark ALL OF US have in common.

In last week’s parsha we learn about the midwives who spoke truth to power, defying the vicious decree to kill the Jewish male newborns. They defied that evil decree, but what was their impetus to do that? Yirat shamayim, as the pasuk says so explicitly: ותראנה המילדות את האלוקים ותחיינה את הילדים. Their subservience to a higher power gave them the courage to reject Pharoh’s evil decree.

When R. Avraham Joshua Heschel joined hands with MLK to defeat racism, they did so as warriors for HKBH; לתקן עולם במלכות שדי. Not as soldiers in a social justice crusade.

And that is our charge today: to fight racism and other social justice evils by calling attention to the sacredness of every human soul: man, women, Jew, non-Jew, white and non-white — once and for all to truly fix a broken world במלכות שדי

As we plead year after year, ויראוך כל המעשים וישתחוו לפניך כל הברואים ויעשו כולם אגודה אחת.

Many years later the charge of MLK and Heschel still calls out to us: מי לה׳ אלי!” ”

Sadly, this world of understanding and behavior will only come about when the “privileged” – the historic Arab-European Colonizers of planet Earth for Allah-Christ-Marx dominionism upon all Indigenous Peoples’ lands – teach their children honestly the *factual and painful* history of humankind upon this planet Earth! The foundation for love and peace must first be laid for “redemption” for “brotherly love” for a “messianic age.” Until we humans learn this lesson….
