Dear Jews of the United States, both Jews shomer halacha and Jews shomea halacha,
If I may, allow me to begin this letter with a few questions. Do you not understand that Israel’s Jewish population consists of a majority of MENA Jews – Jews that are Indigenous to this region? Do you really not think that we Jews of the Middle East have a better understanding of what is necessary to create better relationships between Jews and the Arabs that surround us on all sides? What gives you the hubris to believe that you know better than we as to what political direction we should take, based on the privileged lifestyle that has been granted to Jews living in the United States? My questions are being asked in a genuine love for all the Jewish people.
When I see your laments from across the seas over our election choices and how, if we keep electing MENA Jews like Itamar ben-Gvir (descendant of Iraqi Jews), then we MENA Jews have chosen an anti-Jewish path that will be punished with separation by morally superior USA Jews – this really does show us how much the Jewish people of the United States have lost a basic understanding of who and what the Jewish people are. To quote one of your “American” Civil Rights heroes:
“To condemn the Jewish survival doctrine of Zionism as racism is a travesty upon the truth…. [I personally met Yasser Arafat, and when Arabs began using] oil as a weapon, one could foresee if that trend continued, the American government was capable of sacrificing Israel….
Secondly, I am surprised that the Arabs would choose to establish a precedent condemning racism because it can so easily and righteously be turned against them. Having lived intimately for several years among the Arabs, I know them to be among the most racist people on earth. No one knows this better than the Black Africans living along the edges of the Sahara.
[I have] the deepest sympathy for the Palestinian people in their search for justice, but I see no net gain for freedom and human dignity in the world if power blocs, because of their ability to underwrite sagging economies for a season, are able to ram through [these antisemitic] UN resolutions repugnant to human reason and historical fact.”
– Eldridge Cleaver, former member of the El Fatah-Black Panther alliance, while still in prison, 1976, author of Soul on Ice
When one speaks the self-evident historical truth, one is labeled a “racist” and an “extremist” for doing so – and, especially so, if he or she is a Jew, a Zionist Jew – like the Irgun paramilitary, Hushiel rebels, bar Kokhba rebels, Maccabean rebels and, now, supporters of Itamar ben-Gvir.
It’s been 46 years since Eldridge Cleaver made his informed and experienced judgement about Arabs, in general. To this day, it is Arabs who have rejected every last offer for peace. Offers made by the Israeli people of Jewish ancestral land, all for a peaceful “Palestinian” Arab nation upon our 1948 decolonized Indigenous Judean land. We are still waiting, still being terrorized! So, to say that we need to end this 1964 KGB-PLO created “Palestinian people” Arab long-term settler-occupation force problem that is upon the land of Israel (which we should have done in 1967!), this is still to this day “racism” towards Colonial Arabs who have settler-occupied all the Indigenous Peoples’ lands in the Middle East (including the “West Bank” and Gaza!) – so says Arabs, Europeans, and successfully colonized USA Jews!
Because, how dare the Jewish people be so morally right, and the racist antisemitic world around Israel be so despicably wrong? Blame the Jews for the Arab-created “West Bank” Arab settler-occupation! Blame the Jews for all the failed peace treaties! Blame the Jews for wanting an end to this *non-citizen* Arab settler-occupation upon the “West Bank” and Gaza parts of the land of Israel! To be morally right in the minds of USA Jews is to be ever self-inflicting and self-victimizing “holier than thou” religious fanatics of worldwide inclusivity. Nevermind that the world does *not* want this, and antisemitism is on the rise – *again*! Israel is the number one target! And the “Palestinian people” are the fodder used to justify this movement towards another Shoah!
The Torah, when *not* read in the ridiculous Western-established false equivalency that somehow the Jewish people are equals to Colonial Arabs-Europeans, informs our people as to how we came to be as a Canaanite Hebrew speaking people in Moab, what defines us as an Indigenous People with sovereignty over all of Judea and Samaria, and how we are a light unto all the Indigenous nations that are still surviving Colonial-minded empires’ occupations. How Israel survives Colonialism determines whether the hope for genuine peace in our TaNaKh is ever realized or not upon this planet Earth! USA Jews have got it wrong, thinking that what is good for the United States is also good for the Jewish people living in Judea-Samaria.
The historical reality is repeatedly teaching us that: The six million Jews who defend Judea and Samaria from occupation (along with 1.5 million Israeli Arab, Druze, and Bedouin citizens) pose no threat to the 1.7 billion Arabs who want to rule Judea. 2.75 million of them are post-1948 *Arab* settler-occupiers upon the parts of Judea-Samaria that the Jordanian and Egyptian nations land-grabbed and occupied for 18+ years, after failing their “nakba”-creating 10 month military siege to rule *all* of Judea-Samaria! If Arabs stop fighting Israel, antisemitism and murders end, and Israel can demilitarize (considerably, not fully). If Israel stops fighting “Palestinian” Arabs, Israeli sovereignty ends, and the Jewish people will never become a “light” unto any nations! To say that Jews are being supremacists upon Jewish ancestral land is like saying that the Indigenous Peoples of “America” are being supremacists upon their (USA-allowed) reservations. Jews in the United States of “America” need to get their narratives fixed, because this is the Middle East over here!
Kindly and In Warm Regards,
Yosef ibn Yehuda
Just another one of those pesky MENA Jews in this world, speaking out for true social justice within nations, and for an end to antisemitism – both Jewish and non-Jewish, alike.

Post Script – For those who don’t properly understand the history of this Levant region, or were outright taught a victim-blaming history revisionist version, allow the Arabs and Russians to now explain it to you:
Palestinian Freedom begins with education.
First, how did the Palestinian people get invented by the PLO in 1964?
Zuheir Mohsen, زهير محسن, Palestinian leader of (pro-Syria) As-Sa’iqa Ba’athist faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) between 1971 and 1979: “There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are part of one people, the Arab nation. Look, I have relatives with Palestinian, Lebanese, Jordanian and Syrian citizenships. We are one people. Only for political reasons do we carefully subscribe to our Palestinian identity. Indeed, it is of national importance for the Arabs to encourage the existence of the Palestinians in the face of Zionism. Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity is only there for tactical reasons. The establishment of a Palestinian state is a new means of continuing the struggle against Israel and for Arab unity…. A separate Palestinian entity must stand up for national rights in the then remaining occupied territories. The Jordanian government cannot speak on behalf of the Palestinians in Israel, Lebanon or Syria. Jordan is a state with certain borders. It cannot claim Haifa or Jaffa, for example, while I [as a Palestinian] am entitled to Haifa, Jaffa, Jerusalem and Beersheva. Jordan can only speak on behalf of the Jordanians and the Palestinians in Jordan. The Palestinian state would have the right to act on behalf of all Palestinians in the Arab world and elsewhere. Once we have acquired all our rights in all of Palestine, we must not delay for a moment the reunification of Jordan and Palestine.” – quoted in “Wij zijn alleen Palestijn om politieke reden,” Dutch newspaper Trouw, March 31, 1977 (personally verified, have read the printed article myself)
Yasser Arafat, محمد ياسر عبد الرحمن عبد الرؤوف عرفات القدوة الحسيني, PLO Marxist Leader, “I am a revolutionary. I have dedicated my whole life to the Palestinian cause and the destruction of Israel. I will not change or compromise. I will not agree with anything that recognizes Israel as a state. Never… But I am always willing to make the West think that I want what Brother [Nicolae] Ceausescu wants me to do [appear publicly as a “respectible” “Palestinian” man of peace, though he was born in Cairo, Egypt, joined the Muslim Brotherhood there, and was recruited (and his PLO terrorist organization funded) by the KGB].” – Mohammed Abdel Rahman Abdel Raouf al-Qudwa al-Husseini (aka, Yasser Arafat), PLO Marxist Leader, quoted in PLO headquarters in Beirut by Ion Mihai Pacepa, Chief of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Romania, Red Horizons, 1990, p 92-93.
Meaning, the PLO goal is ending Jewish self-sovereignty upon Jewish ancestral land, so that Jordan can fully occupy Judea-Samaria (what non-indigenous call “Palestine”) for Arabs. This has always been the driving goal, hence no peace treaty with Israel!
Other Arabs also agree:
Khaled Abu Toameh, Journalist/TV Producer, 2013: “Mahmoud Abbas: Palestinians & Jordanians one people in two states. Jordan will not be a Palestinian state. Confederation no longer on table.” – reported on his Twitter account (@KhaledAbuToameh) July 22, 2013
Abd Al-Ghani Salameh, Arab historian, 2017: “Before the Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration) when the Ottoman rule ended [in 1917], Palestine’s political borders as we know them today did not exist, and there was nothing called a Palestinian people with a political identity as we know today, since Palestine’s lines of administrative division stretched from east to west and included Jordan and southern Lebanon, and like all peoples of the region [the Palestinians] were liberated from the Turkish rule and immediately moved to [British] colonial rule, without forming a Palestinian people’s political identity. However, Palestine as a geographic area and the people dwelling within it enjoyed prosperity.” – Official PA TV, Nov. 1, 2017
Yuri Andropov, KGB chairman, “The Islamic world was a waiting petri dish in which we could nurture a virulent strain of America-hatred, grown from the bacterium of Marxist-Leninist thought. Islamic anti-Semitism ran deep. The Muslims had a taste for nationalism, jingoism, and victimology. Their illiterate, oppressed mobs could be whipped up to a fever pitch… We had only to keep repeating our themes — that the United States and Israel were “fascist, imperial-Zionist countries” bankrolled by rich Jews. Islam was obsessed with preventing the infidels’ occupation of its territory, and it would be highly receptive to our characterization of the U.S. Congress as a rapacious Zionist body aiming to turn the world into a Jewish fiefdom… We [the USSR] needed to instill a Nazi-style hatred for the Jews throughout the Islamic world [starting in 1972], and to turn this weapon of the emotions into a terrorist bloodbath against Israel and its main supporter, the United States. No one within the American/Zionist sphere of influence should any longer feel safe.” – Yuri Andropov, KGB chairman, 1972, reported in Russian Footprints, Ion Mihai Pacepa, former Chief of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Romania, 2006
Not only were the Soviet Union the main source of funds for Middle Eastern terrorism, including “airplane hijackings,” the USSR propagated Nazi trigger words to describe Israel/Jews as “practitioners of genocide”, “racists”, forming “concentration camps” among European and Arab nations in response to the Israeli defeat of the Arabs in the 1967 Six Day War, and this has now metastasized to include “Nazi(s)” and “ZioNazi(s)” among social media disinformed Europeans and Arabs.
So, when Vladimir Putin calls a Ukrainian Jew a “Nazi,” he literally means this racist slur, as a former KGB operative himself. Remember, it was the USSR who drafted and got enacted in the United Nations – what should be more correctly named as the United Arab-European Colonial Nations (the UN) ruling international body – the Resolution 3379, condemning Zionism, Jewish self-sovereignty on our ancestral land, as “a form of racism and racial discrimination” against Arabs. The United Nations has always been open to antisemitic racism (“Jew hatred,” which post-1948 now includes “anti-Zionism”) and Russian propaganda, to include the white-washing of European and Arab terrorism as a form of “self-defense” applied against Indigenous people resistance and legitimate self-defense. And, as well, it is the Soviet Union that the architect behind “Israeli Apartheid,” by comparing Israel and South Africa as the same in its news and media services – a Russian disinformation campaign that has now spread around this world over the last fifty years.
Second, how do we educate Palestinians that they are not refugees and need to make peace with Israel?
“To be a Palestinian is to be [taught from birth that you are] a refugee, and to believe in this [mythical] “right of return” [on a land that you never fled], and to devote your entire resources to this idea.” – Einat Wilf, 2022
Of the 5.7 million Arabs registered with UNRWA as alleged “Palestinian war refugees” from 1948, over 40 percent (around 2 million) were born and raised in the West Bank and Gaza, and are not actually “refugees” who need to be resettled. Only they have a legitimate claim to residency in the West Bank and Gaza!
Another 2.2 million so-called “Palestinians”/”Palestinian refugees” are citizens of Jordan, for they were born in Jordan and they were not displaced by war – they either moved into the West Bank and Gaza to claim “refugee” status or simply registered to be a “Palestinian refugee” at home.
And, yet, another million “Palestinians”/”refugees” are registered in Lebanon and Syria, and were born in these nations. Then, there is Hamas that owns and rules Gaza, an Egyptian terrorist organization, founded in Egypt by Egyptian citizens. By their dictatorship, everyone in Gaza is Egyptian!
Only about 200,000 so-called “Palestinians” are *actual* refugees from the *Arab created* “nakba,” and need to be resettled in *Arab nations* – since they don’t want to be Israeli citizens, like the half of Arabs that *stayed* during the 1948-1949 siege of Judea-Samaria by five Arab nation militaries to conquest Israel for Arabs.
To be a Palestinian really is to be a “refugee” in mindset, even though near all(!) are not actually a *war refugee*. But the UNRWA school books for children K-through-12 indoctrinate every year *every child* of “Palestine” to *think* that they are victimized refugees being occupied by Jews, and that Jews are to blame for this. All for the long-term goal of forcing Israel to become divided and to absolve *Jewish sovereignty* upon what portion of our ancestral land that we actually have self-sovereignty upon.
“The path to peace requires nothing less than a transformation in what it means to be a ‘Palestinian.’.. First, ‘Palestinians,’ you’re *not* refugees! The 1948 war is long over. In that war, given that your goal was to prevent the establishment of the State of Israel for the Jewish people [after the Jewish people fought the British occupier off of our ancestral land], you were defeated! You have to move on with your life, and build your lives wherever you are. *You do not possess a “right of return” into the State of Israel.* We were never asking you [Palestinians] to give up that right, because you never possessed it to begin with!” – Einat Wilf, 2022
Third, it’s time to correct the Palestinian narratives about Israel. Zionism began in the 1880s, involving MENA Jews with European Jewish immigrants. Then, we won our Jewish war for Independence, by forcing the occupying British off of our ancestral land!
No amount of Colonizer demonizing of the Jewish people, the Indigenous People of Judea-Samaria, is ever gonna change the simple fact that we successfully fought the British occupier off of our ancestral land and re-established self-sovereignty upon it. We Jews will remain decolonized from this point out! May other Indigenous Peoples soon follow our example! May the Kurdish people being violently attacked, oppressed, and systemically murdered by Arabs, Turks, and Persians be the next Indigenous nation to successfully forcibly decolonize upon their occupied ancestral land!
Fourth, the obsession with Israel/Jews, an extreme minority people in this world, by colonizing Arabs-Europeans for Allah-Christ-Marx dominionism upon all peoples of this planet Earth – who already have ruling supremacy over near all Indigenous Peoples around this world – belies the reality that they – Arab, European, and Marxist nations – are the biggest offender of human rights around this world, while also being the biased judge and jury upon this world, with self-impunity included!
The International Criminal Court’s 1998 Rome Statute describes exactly what every European Christian and Arab Muslim nation has done to Indigenous Peoples upon their ancestral lands around this world. So far, white Christian and Arab Muslim crimes of “systematic oppression and domination” over Indigenous Peoples and those of African ancestry (formerly slaves) “with the intention of maintaining an institutionalized regime” (for example, European or Arab governing/national supremacy on other peoples’ lands) has gone on for 1,600 years now – and, still, counting – with supremacist impunity. And, yet, when the Indigenous fight for their ancestral lands and Indigenous Rights, when racially marginalized minorities demand equal civil rights and justice, it’s always the Colonizers – Europeans and Arabs – who then claim victimhood from their oppressed minorities – again, with socially privileged impunity!
The anti-Jewish racist claim that Israel is engaged in “Jewish supremacy” over Arabs erases the historical truth. The Jewish people reestablished our self-sovereignty, despite Arab and European occupation of our ancestral land – Judea-Samaria, a land that never belonged to the occupying Arabs and Europeans engaged in land-grabbing racial supremacy over the Jewish people for the last 1,400 years. We are the Indigenous People of Judea-Samaria, we are physically out numbered in this world, we have been ethnically cleansed and outright murdered numerous times by racist Europeans and Arabs, and we have Indigenous Rights to our land and security upon our ancestral land.
But Arabs and Europeans want to vilify Israel for being a Jewish nation-State on Jewish ancestral land. And, because Arabs and Europeans – the historic colonizers of the world – don’t like that an extreme minority group has managed to decolonize, they now insist that we the Indigenous Jewish people share our ancestral land equally with the occupiers, the invaders, the Arab/Muslim and European/Christian oppressive and violent Colonizers. A “democracy” they call it, where Jews once again are sovereign-less upon our ancestral land – elsewise, it’s the minority Indigenous folk engaged in “Apartheid” over the conquesting and colonizing Arab/European occupiers of our land.
The racist antisemitic lies have got to stop, the non-citizen Arab occupation of the “West Bank” and Gaza has got to end, and Jews in the Western European nations need to fix their narratives and stop erasing MENA Jewish history, and stop with the capitulation to European and Arab historical revisionisms that place the blame and responsibility solely upon the Jewish people. It’s past time for Jews to unite worldwide in demanding that the Arab nations and their European handlers do something about the injustice in “Palestine” which they created post-1948! Arabs nations have way more than enough land space for all the “Palestinians” who do not want to be peaceful citizens of the only successfully decolonized Indigenous refugee nation upon this entire planet, the nation of Israel. … Oh, but national sovereignty upon decolonized Indigenous Judean-Samarian land is not what they really want. They want the Indigenous nation of Israel to leave, so that they can claim all of Judea and Samaria as Arab land. They’ve made a whole fictitious 4,000 year “Palestinian” Arab history to accompany this. Nevermind all these easily verifiable historical facts!
