If I were President of the USA, this is what I would say at the end of EVERY publicly made address:
“May all the gods, goddesses, and no-gods of this nation’s citizens bless this United States! May we stand together as citizens, as one nation under the Constitution of the United States! Remembering always “E Pluribus, Unum,” “From Many, One” – as was the Founders’ ideal.” (1)
As Thomas Jefferson wrote, “The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.” (2)
This is why I *always* ask “Which God?” when someone in the USA says “God.” For there are *many* among humans, and these gods *are NOT* the same!
“God bless America! (aka, USA)” Which one?! All of them, then! And, also, the no-gods! 🙂
(1) – E Pluribus Unum” was the motto proposed for the first Great Seal of the United States by John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson in 1776, and was approved by an Act of Congress in 1782. The national motto was first used on U.S. coinage in 1795. And, despite protest, was officially replaced in 1956 with “In God We Trust” (a Christian majority’s response to Marxist philosophy of the mid-20th century – aka, Communism, the literally flip side of Capitalism – under H. J. Resolution 396).

Did you already know this? Or, do you know this now?!
Before Arabia became Muslim in the 7th century CE (A.D.), Arabs were polytheistic. The national god was Hubal and the goddesses were al-Lāt, al-‘Uzzā, and Manāt, and they spoke Arabic.
Before Egypt became *Arabized and Muslim*, it was mostly Christian, but *still* polytheistic. The ethno-religious national god was Ra, and they spoke Coptic, because of Roman Christians.
Before Persians (think Iran) became *Arabized and Muslim*, it was polytheistic. The national god was Ahura Mazda, and they spoke Persian with the Pahlavi alphabet.
Before Edomites/Idumeans, the brother tribe of Jews were assimilated into the Jewish population during the Greek BCE occupation of Judea, it was polytheistic. The national god was Qaus, and they spoke Edomite (similar to Moabite).
Before the post-Roman occupation that followed after the Greek’s Judean occupation, Palestinian Jews and Samaritans were *Arabized* and some turned Muslim, and they were henotheistic. Those not conquested by Islam, their ancestral god (formerly, national god) remained YHWH, and they spoke Aramaic and Hebrew – and – now Arabic.
To this day, Jews and Samaritans still speak Hebrew – no matter where in this world. But the Arabic language/ethnicity and the religion Islam is the standard for the Middle East, now! Thus, everyone thinks all Semetic peoples are Arabs!
Except for non-assimilating Jews, … and Samaritans, … and Druze, … and Kurds, … and refugee Iranians, … and Bedouins, … and Christian Arabs, … and etc.) Like Christianity is for Europe and English is for the rest of the European colonized world, Islam and Arabic is for the Middle East. Something to think deeply upon here!
“I’m pretty sure that Arabs come from Arabia, and Jews come from Judea.” That Christians and Muslims are NOT an ethnicity, and that there are very few surviving ethno-religious peoples left on this planet! Unless, you don’t know the history of Islamic conquests upon the Middle East and North Africa, and Christian conquests upon the Western world.
World history is *MUCH* older than 1,600 short conquesting/crusading European years ago!!! I could go on for days on the details from around this world!!! And I haven’t even touched upon Asian and African peoples in this post! Europe was polytheistic, too, by the way – until gentile-created Christianity. So, the rest of the world is either polytheistic or henotheistic or non-theistic, to this very day!
Hello? In which “God” do you trust? What’s the name?!!! Might I add, that no peoples in history, nor their religions, have tried to usurp and suppress the Jewish religion and all other ethno-religions, until *the rise of these two universalist religions, gentile Christianity and Islam*. These two theologies need to replace anyone not them, as a matter of doctrine!

Like Judaism – aka, Jews, an ethno-religious people/culture:
“Arab” is a cultural and linguistic term. It refers to those who speak Arabic as their first language. Arabs are united by culture and by history. Arabs are NOT a race. Some have blue eyes and red hair; others are dark skinned; most are somewhere in between. Most Arabs are Muslims but there are also millions of Christian Arabs and thousands of Jewish Arabs, just as there are Muslim, Christian, and Jewish Americans.
