So, All American Citizens Are Supposed To Clap For Jesus?

Jan 31, 2018 | | 3 comments

The evangelical Christian white-washing of American history, in a last ditch effort to retain demographic control of this nation.

If Eric Trump actually said this, then he’s looney on revisionist Christianized history of this nation. The founders rejected religion in politics, in mottos, and in national constitution. You can’t erase the facts, no matter how much you spread a modern historical myth. E Pluribus Unum (From many, one), our nation’s Founders’ motto, was changed in the 1950’s by Christianized politics to ‘In God We Trust’. Which god do we trust? The Christian one? The Muslim one? The Jewish one? The Hindu ones? Oh, I know, it must be the no-god of Deists, secularists, humanists, and the Enlightenment-era national Founders of this nation, yes? What do the archived historical facts say about this? Lies do not ever preserve and support truth!

#maga by teaching all citizens historically accurate, honest, and detailed history – no more white-washing! We were not created #inhisimage #inhislikeness, regardless what a two thousand year old human written and redacted book says!

Eric Trump says Democrats must clap for Trump if they love Jesus: Americans should be ‘united on God’
https://www.rawstory.com/2018/01/eric-trump-says-democrats-must-clap-trump-love-jesus-americans-united-god/
Eric Trump stated. “There are things as Americans we should be united on. And if we can’t be united on God, if we can’t be united on African-American unemployment being at the lowest it’s ever been.”
“And I honestly think they’re scared,” he opined. “And if I look around [during Tuesday’s speech], they don’t have the personality to go against him. They were sitting there. They looked, quite frankly, defeated.”
“I mean, they didn’t stand for anything,” the younger Trump continued. “When he said ‘In God We Trust’ — when my father mentioned ‘In God We Trust,’ the guiding principle of this country, no one stood.”

Why stand for a historical lie? Why stand for a supplanting of the very democratic principles and ideals that this nation was founded on – just because evangelical Christians want to make the United States a Christian nation – at war with Islam and secularism (what this nation was founded on!)? You know that the evangelical Christian Jesus is a false god, don’t you? And that Trump is the evangelical’s false messiah for the United States? Have hope! The next generation of voting citizens will fix everything this presidency has broken within our constitutional democracy! You can’t stop progress, even with attempted force conversion.

  1. 17 years of history in a simple story, showing how we got to #maga as a nation.

Bush was driving the bus on a mountainous road. He was deep in thought over tearing down stable governments and creating terrorists and wastelands where they could flourish. Distracted, he drove the bus off a cliff where it hurtled two miles below into a deep ravine before bursting into flames. Bush managed to crawl out and claw his way up the side of the ravine. At the top, he stood up, handed the keys to President Obama and said, “your turn.”

President Obama had to go down into the ravine and first build a mechanic shop to rebuild the engine of the bus. He also had to build a body shop to repair the body of the bus. At first, he had a lot of help and was able to build the shops and rebuild the engine and repair the body. But before he could hoist the repaired bus up out of the ravine, a lot of his help left him, replaced by Republicans who stood at the top of the ravine and jeered and insulted and threw rocks as he struggled to hoist the bus to the top.

Once he hoisted the bus up the two-mile side of the ravine, President Obama got into the driver’s seat and began driving the bus back up the mountainous road. Because of some lingering mechanical problems, it took him four miles to get to full speed. But once the bus was back to full speed, it soared for the next two miles.

After two miles of clear sailing, President Obama stopped the bus, got out, handed the keys to Trump and said, “your turn.”

Trump sat down in the driver’s seat, drove for another mile, then stopped the bus, got out, climbed up on top of the bus, smote his breast and beat his chest and said, “Weeeee!! Look at me! Look at me! In one mile, I’ve driven the bus farther up the road than it’s ever been driven! Praise Franklin Graham!!”

And all the white evangelicals ran out into the street and waved palm branches and shouted, “Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna to Trump!! Great is Trump and greatly to be praised! All hail King Trump!!”

But the truth is, for the time Trump’s been in office, he has not outperformed President Obama’s overall record.

    Cue up the racists.

[Whiny voice.] “But it’s so not fair to compare what Trump has done in one year to what it took President Obama 8 years to do.”

It is ABSOLUTELY fair to compare Trump’s first year to President Obama’s eight years.

BECAUSE … that is exactly what TRUMP is doing.

I didn’t lay the ground rules. I didn’t start out comparing Trump’s one year to President Obama’s 8 years.

    TRUMP did.

When he says the stock market is the highest it’s ever been, when he says black unemployment is the lowest it’s ever been … he is comparing his first year to the COLLECTIVE of all previous years. And he is implicitly taking credit for all the accomplishments over the previous eight years; accomplishments that got us very close to the point where we now sit; accomplishments racists never credited to President Obama.

It is grossly unfair to try to compare the first year of President Obama to the first year of Trump or to try to divide President Obama’s 8-year record by 8 to get annual performance…

… because the STARTING POINT for each was monumentally different — President Obama was handed an economy that was in total ruins and headed downward; Trump was handed a fully-repaired and ALREADY-SOARING economy that was on its way up.

But this is exactly what racist whitefolk do. They ignore the STARTING POINT.

And not just on this issue.

Trump didn’t have to build a mechanic shop. He didn’t have to rebuild the engine. He didn’t have to build a body shop. He didn’t have to repair the body. He didn’t have to hoist the bus up the mountainside. He didn’t endure jealous whitefolk hurling rocks at him as he tried the fix the wreckage that THEY had left for him.

There is NO truly fair comparison because of the vastly different starting points. But TRUMP has chosen to make the comparison. And to give the comparison some semblance of fairness, you have to take into consideration President Obama’s full eight years of contributions that got us very close to the point where we now sit. To forget about the horrendous fiery crash; to forget about President Obama saving the auto industry and the banking system; to forget about President Obama getting the economy moving with his stimulus package and saving people’s homes by extending unemployment; to forget about the eight miles he brought us through, while allowing Trump to crow about the point where we now sit, is deceptive and deeply rooted in racism because it gives a white president credit for the point where we now sit, without acknowledging the monumental accomplishments of the black president who brought us through our darkest days and put us within striking distance of our current point.

    Still …

On the stock market, Trump has performed only half as well during his first 11 months as President Obama did during his first 11 months:

Stock market when President Obama took office = 8,000
    11 months later = 12,000
    50% Increase

Stock market when Trump took office = 20,000
    11 months later = 25,000
    25% Increase

And on jobs … Trump has underperformed in his first 11 months, the gains President Obama turned in during his last 11 months:

President Obama created 2.093 million jobs in his last 11 months.

Trump only created 1.839 million jobs in his first 11 months. (At tonight’s State of the Union, Trump deceptively took credit for jobs created since the ELECTION, counting as his own, the jobs created by President Obama during President Obama’s last three months in office.)

And on the unemployment rate … the average unemployment rate for President Obama’s last 11 months in office was 4.9% compared to 4.3% for Trump’s first 11 months in office. President Obama did the heavy lifting to get us from the Great Recession to very near the point where we now sit.

And the now-fabled black unemployment rate … 12.7% when President Obama took office; 7.8% when he left office — a 39% reduction. A year later, it’s 6.8% — only a 13% reduction for Trump. President Obama got us very near the point where we now sit.

To pretend Trump is responsible for the point where we now sit, when he has barely moved the needle beyond where President Obama brought us, and to ignore the against-all-odds accomplishments of President Obama in getting us to this point, is deceptive and deeply rooted in racism.

Courtesy of Gap, Inc. … And white people try to convince us that the illegitimate election of Trump against the voted will of the people wasn’t racially motivated. #maga by putting them ALL back into their uncivilized and inherently criminal place. But, I digress… Hey, #BlackLivesMatter and, if you’re white and WRONG,… damnit, have some honesty and ethical/moral fortitude to admit it!

    #RacialProfiling in #OldNavy by management.

James Conley III added a photo and 4 videos — at Old Navy Jordan Creek Tc.
    January 30 at 6:03pm

Today I was racially profiled by the Old Navy store in West Des Moines, Iowa in Jordan creek. I was accused that I didn’t pay for my blue bubble jacket that I got for Christmas that I wore into the store. As I was checking out to purchase some hoodies, I was asked if I wanted to also purchase the jacket that I was wearing. First, I started laughing because I didn’t believe what I was hearing. The store manager Beau Carter was very unprofessional and stereotyped me because I was a Black male. He says “anytime someone wears Old Navy clothing they have to always scan that customers clothing to insure that it was previously purchased”. (Where do they do that at?) Every time I go to this store I have on my same exact winter blue jacket and have never been asked to scan my clothing and the previous “non-black” customers had on identical apparel as me from old navy but was never asked to scan their clothing. Then after they scan my jacket they try to make me repay for it?? Finally the District Manager Shannon (who refused to give out her last name) came out and I made her check the surveillance tape to prove that her and her fellow employees were in the wrong for racially profiling me because of the color of my skin. Once she confirmed that I was telling the truth (after watching the tape) she never came back out to apologize to me nor did the store manager Beau Carter as you can see in my videos below.

  3. “A secretary at a public high school in Lancaster, PA, said she was pleasantly surprised her pay went up $1.50 a week … she said [that] will more than cover her Costco membership for the year,” Ryan tweeted on Saturday.

Really? The only reason “every little bit counts” for the average American, the working class, the 80% of us, is because we’ve been denied our fair share of this nation’s prosperity and wealth over the last 45 years. We have been systematically denied wage increases as the cost of living goes up, forced to take on debt to survive, and pay most of this country’s taxes. And for what? An extra dollar fifty a week for being silent and accepting, for voting for the very politicians who believe it is their job to take from the workers and give to the wealthy corporate owners? American citizens cannot stay so stupid for too much longer!

Fleecing and enslaving the American public and convincing them to like it is the #maga way, backed by making the United States whitely #inhisimage to maintain their self-serving elitist control. Wake up, it’s for real and happening folks!

Paul Ryan: Secretary Getting $1.50 More A Week Shows Effect Of GOP Tax Cuts
    https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/paul-ryan-tax-cut-weekly-pay-bump_us_5a76151de4b06ee97af318e8
House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) really wants you to know how great the Republican tax cuts are.
Worried that the partisan Nunes memo released Friday will undermine the FBI’s ability to do its job? Ryan is happy to remind you, ”The tax cuts are working.”
On Saturday, Ryan outdid himself again with a tweet bragging about the extra $1.50 a week that a Pennsylvania secretary is making thanks to the GOP legislation.
The tweet refers to an anecdote about the secretary, Julia Ketchum, in an Associated Press article.
A dollar and 50 cents a week amounts to $78 a year. Although every little bit counts for Americans living paycheck to paycheck, an extra $78 a year is a very small amount of money by any standard.
The tweet predictably drew mockery, and Ryan deleted it Saturday afternoon.
To be fair, the $1.50 figure likely reflects Ketchum’s reduced tax withholding in her paycheck due to lower tax rates. As a result of increases in deductions, including a doubling of the standard deduction, she may also get more money back after filing her 2018 taxes next spring.
