“Concede” Is Never A Religious Word!

Christianity and Islam – pure religions, theistic, proselytizing, self-righteous, and historically violent at the core.

Since the rise and spread of Christianity in 4th CE and Islam in 7th CE, the world has not been safe for those who are different. Jews were the first to be persecuted and thrown into Ghettos, sometimes killed off. Then, even more virulently, followed by humans considered to be “black”. With both proselytizing religions, LGBT and those who are non-religious or not converted to the “true” religion are worthy of death. Hateful fundamentalism disguised as love and righteousness abounds at the very heart of Christianity and Islam in every nation these ideologies have touched and consumed. Conversion is the mandate of these proselytizing religions, sometimes at all costs! It is the only and ultimate goal, the foundation to these religions.

Arabs, Jews, Europeans, Africans, and Asians simply must be Muslim or Christian, depending on which religion is talking. What makes us human – our diversity – is suspect and sinful and worthy of being purged for the sake of “God’s glory”. This is the world we live in today, and it is a violent world of our own making! It is human willingness to question, to resist, to be different that prevents an oppressive ideological take-over of the human primate species, bent on suffering. It is secularism, democratic unions, adherence to non-proselytizing tribal religions that keeps fundamentalism at bay. For the sake of human sanity and sanctity, we must never allow proselytizing monotheism to prevail! Life thrives by diversity, and “truth” and “meaning” in life is not found solely in a single human-written book.

To #MAGA requires the Moores, Trumps, and Bannons of this world (the priests, despots, and white nationalists) to be kept separated from the constitutional governments that are fundamentally at odds with their religions!

Moore camp warns of consequences if Jones is certified as Alabama winner
A spokeswoman for Roy Moore, the loser in Alabama’s Senate special election earlier this month, warned state officials they might face consequences if they certify Democrat Doug Jones as the winner.

Moore thinks that he is #inhisimage and will not concede the Senate seat election he lost – sore loser!

  1. Why did it take 8,000 years for humans to put their oral myths to writing? It wasn’t like they didn’t know how to chisel pictures into stone and clay!

The first human written records were chiseled to stone in 10,950 BCE (B.C.), in Gobekli Tepe of Turkey. They record in mythic symbology the astronomical events at the time, that of an asteroid hitting the earth. This was the beginnings of recorded human history, marking the arrival of human civilizations upon the earth. But, it wouldn’t be until 8,250 years later (only a mere 2,700 years ago) that humankind would write its very first henotheistic myths about an ethnicity-favoring national “God”, the god of Israel, who is the creator of all the world (including all the other gods and goddesses, plentiful in number, that are in the world). In monarchy times, this god was Yahweh. But, when the theocratic priests took over the nations of Judea and Israel, this god was now Elohim.

As human history would dictate, it wouldn’t be until the compiling and editing of the many scrolls into the first “Bible”, the Torah, by Jewish scribes after the Babylonian exile that, in select written places, Yahweh and Elohim would be now side-by-side, signifying that both gods are actually the same “one” national god of Israel. These developments led to the first true monotheistic religion upon this planet, an ethno-national civil-ritual -based religion now known as Judaism, which came about as an invention of the Pharisaic rabbis a couple hundred years prior to the fall of the 2nd Temple of Jerusalem in 70 CE (A.D.). This led to the eventual rise and spread of the first non-ethnic proselytizing strictly theology-based religion in the world, called Christianity, in the 4th CE (A.D.). From this influence eventually came the rise and spread of the second non-ethnic proselytizing theology-based religion in the world, Islam, in the 7th CE (A.D.).

The world has never been the same since the rise of non-ethnic proselytizing theology-based religions! War and oppression became an ideal that now serves the best interests of a religion’s “God”, a god bent on redeeming the world from imperfection and perceived moral sins by conversion or death, by blind obedience to religious leaders, and by divisive hatred of others who do not conform to the ideal belief.

It is dangerous to try to #MAGA again, by defying its secular constitutional roots, in favor of making everyone #inhisimage #inhislikeness. Shabbat shalom, everyone! Take a peaceful day of rest!

  2. “It is urgent for Americans to think and speak clearly about President Trump’s inability to do either [think or speak]… the dangerous [problem of Trump] is that he does not know what it is to know something.”

First of all, it has yet to be determined if Donald J Trump is legitimately the president. (That “Russia thing,” and all.) Secondly, …

“…it is up to the public to quarantine this presidency by insistently communicating to its elected representatives a steady, rational fear of this man whose combination of impulsivity and credulity render him uniquely unfit…” for any position of governmental power and authority.

#MAGA means recognizing a “lemon” when you have one, and replacing him with someone ripely fitted to the task of being a president of the people, of a nation! (Hint, it’s not Pence, either, for he is just as shady and nefarious!) #Resist and demand the #NationalPopularVote in your state!

Trump Has A Dangerous Disability – WP Opinion, George F. Will
It is urgent for Americans to think and speak clearly about President Trump’s inability to do either. This seems to be not a mere disinclination but a disability. It is not merely the result of intellectual sloth but of an untrained mind bereft of information and married to stratospheric self-confidence.
What is most alarming (and mortifying to the University of Pennsylvania, from which he graduated) is not that Trump has entered his eighth decade unscathed by even elementary knowledge about the nation’s history. As this column has said before, the problem isn’t that he does not know this or that, or that he does not know that he does not know this or that. Rather, the dangerous thing is that he does not know what it is to know something.

  3. Crime and misdemeanors at the highest levels right under our noses. Trump and the GOP give new meaning to scandalous “reality TV”. Fusion GPS speaks out.

    You’ll want to read this – https://mobile.nytimes.com/2018/01/02/opinion/republicans-investigation-fusion-gps.html

“As we told the Senate Judiciary Committee in August, our sources said the dossier was taken so seriously because it corroborated reports the bureau had received from other sources, including one inside the Trump camp.
The intelligence committees have known for months that credible allegations of collusion between the Trump camp and Russia were pouring in from independent sources during the campaign. Yet lawmakers in the thrall of the president continue to wage a cynical campaign to portray us as the unwitting victims of Kremlin disinformation.
We suggested investigators look into the bank records of Deutsche Bank and others that were funding Mr. Trump’s businesses. Congress appears uninterested in that tip: Reportedly, ours are the only bank records the House Intelligence Committee has subpoenaed.
We told Congress that from Manhattan to Sunny Isles Beach, Fla., and from Toronto to Panama, we found widespread evidence that Mr. Trump and his organization had worked with a wide array of dubious Russians in arrangements that often raised questions about money laundering. Likewise, those deals don’t seem to interest Congress.”

#MAGA one crooked politician at a time!

  4. Amazing the depths of willful ignorance in Southern white education – about American history.

“State Rep. Bill Chumley (R-Woodruff) and state Rep. Mike Burns (R-Taylors) pre-filed a bill last month that would establish a commission to design an African-American Confederate veterans monument, reported The State. The bill would also require public schools to teach the contributions of black people toward the Confederate cause.”

The Confederate states had two specific reasons for seceding from the United States: 1) to constitutionally establish a white Christian nation, and 2) to establish in their constitution the permanency of African slaves. No, black Americans did *not* serve as Confederate soldiers in the Civil War! They did serve as slaves, though.

#MAGA requires teaching all folk and, especially, white folk in the South the actual historical facts of our nation.

GOP lawmakers surprised to learn no black soldiers served under Confederacy in South Carolina
Walter Edgar, director of the University of South Carolina’s Institute for Southern Studies, who wrote a history of the state, said any black person who served in a Confederate unit in South Carolina was either a slave or an unpaid laborer working against his will.
South Carolina forbid blacks from carrying weapons during most of the Civil War out of fear of a slave revolt, but the Confederacy did allow black soldiers in the final months of the doomed rebellion.
State Sen. Darrell Jackson (D-Columbia), a black Democrat, and state Sen. Greg Gregory (R-Columbia), a white Republican, filed a separate proposal to memorialize Robert Smalls, who hijacked a Confederate supply ship in 1862 and turned it over to the Union. He went on to become a state legislator and five-term congressman.

  5. Ouch, the adult child pretending to be president, got slammed in his press conference by both the American and Norwegian press – and – by the Norwegian Prime Minister, to boot! It was hilarious and terribly sad, at the same time, and reflects so poorly on the United States. Time to get the #NationalPopularVote in place, so the Electoral College can no longer steal elections away from the voting populous. #maga?!
