Time Is More Than Relative, It Is An Illusion

Apr 5, 2017 | | 5 comments

Yep. Time is relative. Even more so, it’s a human invented measurement. The distinction of past, present, and future is an illusion, a fiction of our mind like gods, months and weeks, nations, corporations, and monetary value. There is only this moment, and the perception of past, the experience of present, and the imagination of future is all experienced “at all times” in this now.

“Everything that has happened, is happening, and will happen is happening now. Most of us have difficulty seeing this, for we are way too invested in our perception of the three being separate… Physics demonstrates that life (reality) responds to our observing it, not to our thoughts about it. It is pseudoscience (religion guised as science) that trys to make it about our mind… Life is not about you or I, it’s about we – as a species. Sadly, too many of us fail to see this because of our human-made subjective fictions about life. And this leads too many of us towards a life of suffering and seeking salvation from this suffering. Life is about we, the species. In this is our purpose for being, and this includes the human species. Individually, our brief presence in life is the successful continuation of the human primate species upon this earth. With all our wildly imaginative fictions that we have about it.” – Joseph T Farkasdi

“Conscious life began with an observation. An act of observing, which led to an act of thinking about what is being observed. This relationship between observing and thinking is what drove our species towards creating a fictive language. A cognitive-based language reality that we often mistake as more real than the self-evident reality itself. This act of ‘thinking’ leads all thinking-creatures to an incessant need to be doing, beyond the basic genetic needs for survival, and this is especially the case with our human primate species. Like each cell is an important, though brief, part of the entire body of a nefesh chayah, a “living breathing-creature”, so are we individually – in body, mind, and consciousness – a briefly existing, but necessary, part of the ever-changing body of the human species. A species that is ever-growing more aware of itself consciously.” – Joseph T Farkasdi

“An obsession with “purity” is the heart and soul of every single theistic-based religion that human Sapiens have developed throughout human history. This obsession with purity creates caste/class systems, most notably with the “priests” and “elites” in the top class and with the “untouchable” destitute or “poor” class at the bottom. Even the most ideal of “democratic”-based nations continue to move towards this separatist system of the “have” and “have not”, of the “us” and “them”, so long as religion is allowed to have an affectual place in the civil affairs of humans. It doesn’t matter what religion it is – whether theistic, nationalistic, or philosophical – for such human-made ideology to be believed in as an “absolute” or a fundamental reality “truth”, then there has to be those at the bottom who suffer as human beings – all to justify the authority and teachings of those at the top.” – Joseph T Farkasdi

“Sadly, a person and a nation that chooses divine rule over elevating our common good, from the mis-belief that we are inherently bad and given to “sin”, is a person or a nation that has no liberty. Liberty is what the Founders of this nation fought for – a “People’s democracy” that separates church from state. Sadly, if we, the United States of America, are to remain a free nation and not return to the religious/monarchical rule of Europe’s past, then we must address the take-over of government by the minority evangelical religious-nationalist extreme-right in this nation’s government.” – Joseph T Farkasdi

  1. “Terrorists are like a fly that tries to destroy a china shop.” – Yuval Noah Harari, author of Sapiens

Yep. Terrorists kill so few in number, but so many react in mass terror. They are the fly in the china shop. As such, all the governments are like bulls that fear the fly, reacting aggressively in shows of force that actively destroy the china shop – as we try to kill the fly. This is how our human primate species dominion of the earth works, folks. Will we ever learn to discipline our reactive behavior as a species, before we make ourselves and all other nefesh chayah extinct upon this planet? History will eventually tell.

  2. Do you know why so many people are atheists? The reason is because your god is not found outside of the individual and collective social imagination of humans. The reason is because your god is not found outside of a human written description found in the myths of an idolized book. The reason is because we as humans don’t need a god to be good, to be loving, to be ethical, to be compassionate, and to be strong in character.

In historical fact, there has always been less violence, less hatred, less oppression, less misogyny, less chauvinism, less poor, and less rule by oligarchy where goddess worshiping matriarchies, where secularism and democratic republicanism, and where rational atheism exists in the majority.

We all know this is true, but many choose not to believe this. Not believing does not change the reality. Take a look around the world. Peace is not found where religion reigns as supreme. Though patriarchal theistic religions are the most guilty, let’s not forget the religions of nationalism, capitalism, and communism are near as guilty, as well. #atheism #ffrf #RonReagan #goddess #nationalism #capitalism #communism Because we need to know the truth – #maga #inhisimage #inhislikeness

MSNBC, CNN airing FFRF’s Ron Reagan endorsement ad

An ad recorded by Ron Reagan inviting viewers to join the Freedom From Religion Foundation is airing for the first time on the nation’s most prominent news commentary shows. “Morning Joe” and the “Rachel Maddow Show” on MSNBC are running the ad through March 12. The 30-second spot is also returning to CNN during the same time period.

In the ad, Reagan, the progressive son of President Ronald and Nancy Reagan, says: “Hi, I’m Ron Reagan, an unabashed atheist, and I’m alarmed by the intrusion of religion into our secular government. That’s why I’m asking you to support the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the nation’s largest and most effective association of atheists and agnostics, working to keep state and church separate, just like our Founding Fathers intended. Please support the Freedom From Religion Foundation. Ron Reagan, lifelong atheist, not afraid of burning in hell.”

  3. How much you want to bet that there were Russians on that air base the U.S. just struck? Are our FOBs now at risk of an “opps”, an “accident”, because of this? How many wars have we won in our four decades of presence so far in the Greater Middle East? The citizens of Syria deserve justice, deserve Assad to pay for his inhumanity, but who legally has the right to execute this justice upon him? Now that this is done, what is the longterm plan to see Syria regain its own ability to change and move towards peace? If regime change is the plan, will ISIL be saying “thank you”, again? Is there even a plan? If we struck Russian assets, too, what is the plan to deal with this?
